T Visa

The T visa is a humanitarian immigration benefit designed for victims of severe forms of human trafficking, including sex trafficking and labor trafficking. It provides protection to individuals who are physically present in the United States as a result of trafficking and who may assist law enforcement in the investigation or prosecution of traffickers, when required. Individuals granted T visa status may receive work authorization and can later apply for lawful permanent residence if they meet certain eligibility requirements. T visa applicants often face complex legal and personal circumstances, making detailed evidence and careful case preparation especially important. An immigration attorney can help victims document their experiences, prepare supporting declarations, and navigate the application process with sensitivity and confidentiality.
